With great sorrow and regret, we are sad to announce the death of Dennis Nyamai a youth club member and a friend of CTK family. He was born in 1991. It has been a journey of two weeks in the hospital at KNH where he was admitted. He was a loving jovial, intelligent and social to all. His joking character made him a friend to many. With great honor and respect we surely miss you. You have left a very big scar in our family of CTK. They have said time heal wounds but, this is the wound that will never heal until the day we will be re-united on that great re-union day.
The late Dennis Nyamai, has been living with his grandmother after his mother died a long time ago. He has been on and off the hospital, he had some sickly admitted records. A friend to many, his social life was one of the best character of his. Mingling and hanging out with friends was one of his hobbies. He use to participate in church activities and youths forums.
It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.
We will miss you Denno. You have left a big gap which can’t be filled, May your soul rest in peace. Perhaps life is too short and we all don’t know when our day will come, but well we know one day we will die.
Those who are alive they know one day they will die, but those who are dead doesn’t know anything. As are grieving over the death of our loved one, comforting each other’s soul and sending our condolences to the family, we know that the dead can not cry out but it is out duty we who are alive to morn them. May the Lord God strengthen you and feel your hearts with hope.”
All is for glory of God. Let his will be done. We are passing by to our home where there will be no death. We all want to go to heaven but we don’t want to die. We may not be able to say all about you Denno, but God knows and understand the aches in our hearts. We know that our savior cares. We cant control our teas from rolling down our cheeks, but we hope the pain will also die in us and we have to accept that you are no longer in the living world. Now you belong to the world of dead, the world of spirits. Life is too short perhaps, we are alive today, yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come.
We wish we could wake up and see you standing there. Then we would know that it was just a nightmare. But no, it is real since you are not there as we all wish. With angels on this summer day, you never woke; you slipped away. Now day just dims into the night. What a grief! We only have a pictures now, To remind us of how it was before,When you were here with us
