Vigil means wakefulness. This is a period of purposeful sleeplessness, an occasion for devotional watching, or an observance. Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one’s weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart. The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays. Prayers made can move the mountains. Is not all about asking but also saying thank you Lord am a live.
We sometime should not pray for an easy life, but pray for the strength to endure a difficult one. Living youthful life in this generation we know how tempting it is, right? we should seek God’s guidance and understanding for as to live a life that is pleasing God not just our own eyes. How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. Psalms 119:9.
Youths, Remember who you are. Don’t compromise for anyone, for any reason. You are a child of the Almighty God. Live that truth. If you can’t fly, then run, If you can’t run, then walk, If you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward. Our greatest fear should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter. God does not give us everything we want, but He does fulfill His promises, leading us along the best and straightest paths to Himself.
Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts. Let us never forget to pray. God lives. He is near. He is real. He is not only aware of us but cares for us. He is our Father. He is accessible to all who will seek Him.
He who lays up treasures on earth spends his life backing away from his treasures. To him, death is loss. He who lays up treasures in heaven looks forward to eternity; he’s moving daily toward his treasures. To him, death is gain. We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face…we must do that which we think we cannot.
The glory of young men is their strength, And the honor of old men is their gray hair. Youthfulness is just like smoke of the air, Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle. The thing you are doing while young, is just a reflection of what you should expect in your older days. Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants, And our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace;
Youths is being in power, being in control because we have strength and energetic enough to move mountains. This is the freshness of youths. Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power; In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew. So, remove grief and anger from your heart and put away pain from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe. 1 Timothy 4:12 . This is your time to shine as a young person, because a time is coming when you will say i don’t enjoy life any more. well life has no rehearsal remember, we can only recall the past but we can’t relive it. So live today as if there is no life tomorrow. Your tomorrow only depends on how you live today.
Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Isaiah 40:30. what can a young man do in order to live a life that please God/ Is by living according to His way. God help this young ones to live according to your will. To be youths of substance, mick, tender,J humble and above all to live Jesus,s exemplary life here on earths as we all wait for the second coming of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Above all, learn to be prayerful. Prayer is the strength that keeps you going. Prayer is the only way for a young person to grow strong in Jesus. Preach peace, live a life from lies, live a life that glorifies your creator. Fix your mind on he things are above, things that has no end, and that is God. All your mind and soul should be fixed to your creator.
God never said that the journey would be easy, but He did say that the arrival would be worthwhile, so be prepared for the battle that may come. Life is wasted if we do not grasp the glory of the cross, cherish it for the treasure that it is, and cleave to it as the highest price of every pleasure and the deepest comfort in every pain. What was once foolishness to us—a crucified God—must become our wisdom and our power and our only boast in this world. The greater your knowledge of the goodness and grace of God on your life, the more likely you are to praise Him in the storm. Praise God.
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:28-31
The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
